Air Brake Pintle Flatbed Trailers

Appalachian Trailers offers 45,000 lb. GVWR Air Brake Pintle Flatbed Trailers in a two-axle configuration. These trailers feature 14″ I-beam main frame construction, 8″ channel outer rails, and 4″ channel cross members. The cross members are pierced through the main frame with 16″ spacing. The air brake axles ride on Hutchen’s-style slipper suspension. Tires are 215/75R17.5 Load Range H. Oak flooring is standard on the floor, dovetail, and spring-loaded swing-up loading ramps.

We also offer optional hydraulic 8 ft. oak-lined ramps. The more gradual loading angle provided by these longer ramps is ideal for low-clearance paving equipment and other machinery. The hydraulically actuated ramps are raised and lowered with the touch of a button. A 25 ft. length is standard on the two-axle model, with a 30 ft. length available.
